Why is it that in Beetlejuice, the movie, BJ is evil, YET in the cartoon he
and Lydia are best friends? Should I just take the AU (Alternate Universe)
answer?
Okay, just finished watching the first ep of Food Fight, and... well... I
dunno what to really say about the plot. Watching it was rather annoying as it
would switch between Japanese and Chinese audio tracks. Which reminds me of a
Jackie Chan movie Roo rented that it kept switching audio tracks in the middle
of the video. ^^; Anyhow, we got your typical happy go-lucky hero who is Mr.
Nice all around, showing great compassion for those all around him. Oh, and he
use to be an orphan who now works for a big company as a janitor and visits the
orphanage that he was raised at daily. But, secretly at night, the big company
that he works for uses him to work in illegal gambling. What kind of gambling
you might ask? Why, food-eating contests! ^^ Well, that's your main plot. There
are the sub-plots of course, like the usual orphan who use to be like the hero
when he was young. But, yes, the hero is the 9 time food-eating champion and
with the winnings, he anonymously donates the money to his orphanage. Little
does anyone know of his secret identity! The big corporation run by the big evil
owner realizes that the people who see the hero compete are getting bored and
big evil wants our hero to take a dive. If the hero takes a dive, then he can
have a position in the company that is NOT a janitor. Our hero is now torn. Does
he finally take a position so he will not have to worry about the lie that he
lives of being successful or defy the big evil and continue to win the
competition??? While contending at the contest, the little orphan that is like
our hero, happens to sneak in. With others in the company telling him to not
throw the contest, the little orphan gets to our hero and he wins the contest!
::parade:: This irritates the big evil owner. Enraged, he tells his assistant/wife/slave/pet/whatever
else he calls her to find someone that can defeat him. Meanwhile, the opponent
who just lost is killed in the parking lot because some person was stupid to put
his life savings on a food-eating contest. Go figure. Japan is more dangerous
than you think. ... Did that make any sense? OOOH! Long Vacation just finished
downloading! ::WHOOSH::
Oh yeah! I got a credit card. I need to check how much credit I have on it...
That and I need to figure out what my first big purchase should be. I can't get
my teeth worked on for about 2 months since I can't take time off from my job.
Maybe I could use a new computer. @.@ Nah, kidding. ::shrugs::
Mmm... not really much to say. But then again, comments have been at nothing
for some time. I see how it is. No yaoi porn, no visitors. FINE. =p Meh...
lacking motivation again, so nothing is getting done.
Interesting that now Sony is entering the portable
system market. Course, I suppose it was bound to happen. But with all
these super specs, it probably means it's going to be a high price and we all
know what happens to expensive portable systems.
Oh, yeah. Forgot that I downloaded some Japanese drama called Food
Fight. Guess I'll watch that and the first Japanese drama I saw, Long
Vacation. Food Fight is suppose to be as good as Great
Teacher Onizuka. I hope so.
::hugs the toilet:: I missed you!!! @.@
If for some reason I woke up as a female
detective... (color
version). What can I say? The girls (Roo
and Steph)
have some interesting ideas... ^^;
Meh, couldn't get that Oekaki board to save again... But I took a screen cap
this time so I can still show off the quickie I did:
I think my Sakura obsession is back. ^^;
Roo sent me this little animation program thingy last night, so I did this:
Then it made me want to do some Oekaki. So, I did, but when I finished and
tried to submit it, I did something wrong and it was lost. ::sigh:: And it was
actually a decent pic. Blarg. That's all. Spent the rest of the day playing
Final Fantasy IV with Roo as we bummed about our screwed toilet. Dag nabbit. The
end.
I think I'll try more Oekaki tonight. WEEEE~!
1 mints on my pillow.
